Dial from the browser you're in. Hang up, pay for the minutes.

No subscriptions. No hidden fees. No app.
Just minutes, honest to the cent.

A live meter runs during the call and every charge lands in your history. The thing every other calling app quietly gets wrong.

Questions, answered

What does the person I call see?
A normal phone call from a standard number. They just pick up — no app, no account, nothing to install on their side.
Does my credit expire?
No. Your balance stays until you spend it. There's no subscription and nothing recurring to cancel.
What do I need to call?
A browser and a microphone. Works on your laptop or phone — nothing to install.
Can I call landlines?
Yes — mobiles and landlines in 180+ countries. The per-minute price shows before the call rings.
How am I billed?
At the rate you saw before calling: the first minute in full, then by the second. A live meter runs during the call, and every charge lands in your history.
Why not WhatsApp, Viber or Google Voice?
Messengers only reach people who have the app and are online. Viber Out does call real numbers, but you have to install their app; Google Voice is effectively US-only. heyphone rings any real number from the browser you already have — your mother's landline included.
Can I add another person to a call?
Yes — add one more number to a live call and the three of you talk together. You pay each number's usual per-minute rate from your balance; for the others it's just a regular incoming call. No conference surcharge.
What if I don't fully speak the language?
Turn on live subtitles (beta): what the other side says appears as text in your language while you talk. Included in the per-minute price; not available on group calls yet.
