Terms of service

heyphone lets you call real mobile and landline numbers from your browser. You pay for calls from prepaid credit at the per-minute rate shown before each call. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.

heyphone is operated by a sole trader registered in Cyprus (EU). “We” and “us” below refer to the operator; “you” refers to the account holder.

An account needs a working email address and one verified phone number. Keep access to your email — it is how you sign in. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

Credit is prepaid and does not expire. Calls are charged at the rate shown before the call: the first minute in full, then by the second. A live meter runs during every call, and every charge appears in your history. We never store your card and never charge you automatically.

Prices can change; the rate shown when you place a call is the rate you pay for that call. Where VAT or similar taxes apply, they are included in the displayed package price.

You agree not to use heyphone for:

• anything unlawful, including harassment, threats, or scam calls;
• automated or bulk calling (robocalls, telemarketing dialers);
• traffic pumping, premium-rate schemes, or any form of toll fraud;
• reselling minutes without our written agreement.

Callable destinations are a curated list that can change without notice. To protect users and carriers we may pause or restrict an account while we investigate unusual activity; your remaining credit is not forfeited by an investigation. If you think a restriction is a mistake, write to support and we will review it.

heyphone is not a replacement for a phone line and cannot reach emergency services (911, 112, 999 or local equivalents). Make sure you always have another way to call for help.

Calls travel over your internet connection, so quality depends on your network. The service is provided “as is”; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.

The English version of these terms is authoritative; translations into other languages are provided for convenience only, and the English text prevails if they differ.
